Preliminary procedures
Required Documents:
The following documents (translated in English) are requested for the pre-wedding administrative formalities:
- Copies of passports
- Copies of birth certificates
- Passport photos
- Divorce decree if applicable
- Death certificate and previous marriage certificate if applicable
Note: Non-English documents should be translated to English and stamped before sending.

Procedures
The wedding date should be chosen well in advance and copies of the required document should be sent by latest 12 weeks preceding the wedding.
Matrimonial systems proposed: –
- The legal system of community of goods.
- The legal system of separations of property.
- A marriage settlement embodied in a notarial deed in accordance with the common wish of the future spouses. This option requires an official letter from their notary.
